Everyman Minis: Bloodline Mutations

By Alexander Augunas

For the Pathfinder RPG customer who wants a little more, Everyman Gaming is proud to introduce Everyman Minis! Uniting several high-quality Pathfinder RPG freelancers under a single product line, each week a different Everyman Gaming author or freelancer tackles an exciting new topic by creating a miniature product specially designed to scratch that product’s particular itch.

This installment of Everyman Minis includes: 1,000 words detailing all-new bloodline mutations—special powers that bloodragers and sorcerers can take instead of their bloodline’s powers and feats. Included within are powers that allow you to defensively coat yourself in a haze of gore, the ability to unleash spells with extra tenacity against hated enemies, the ability to form blood bonds with your allies via magic, and more!

With Everyman Gaming, innovation is never more than a page away!

Matt Morris’ bloodline mutations are a fun little supplement; the concept deserves to be expanded further. That being said, due to the wide variety between bloodline powers and feats, it’s hard to judge whether or not you’d consider the respective options to be balanced. As a whole, a few seem to gravitate to the more potent side of things, often courtesy of having arcana-like effects that apply to many or all spells cast. That being said, this is a nice pdf to check out if you’re looking for some nice options for magical bloodlines, and it does have some really cool visuals. My final verdict will clock in at 3.5 stars, rounded up.
